An essay on the topic of space and man. Space exploration essay on what astronautics gives people

The space age began in the 20th century. According to the author of this essay, in 1961, when the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person outside the Earth. After this event, the cosmonaut became the most coveted profession for the children of the Soviet Union. All Soviet schoolgirls in white bows and strict aprons were in love with Gagarin. However, the space age is often counted from 1957 - the world's first launch of an artificial Earth satellite.

Less than a century has passed, less than the life of one generation. Those who found the first newspapers with Gagarin's white-toothed smile still walk without sticks. Today, the world uses satellite mapping, satellite television, communications ... Today (and the essay is being written at the end of 2016), the Curiosity rover is already exploring the vastness of the Red Planet, named after the Roman god of war. Another curious explorer probe is flying towards Jupiter.

Forty years ago, literate minds around the world were occupied with the question: "Is there life on Mars?" Few believed that scientists would be able to answer this question. Today scientists can already answer it reasonably.

A man was supposed to set foot on the Red Planet in 2014, as Neil Armstrong's team visited the moon in 1968. But due to the high costs of space projects, humans have not yet been on Mars. There were no more lunar expeditions (world space agencies explain this by the high cost and complete economic nonsense of such a flight).

It is interesting to read historical chronicles about how the first attempts to explore space, which originated in the minds of scientists, were perceived. After all, the design and testing of jet engines began in the 1920s. The world's first jet-powered aircraft took off (and fell shortly after testing began, killing its test pilot Grigory Bakhchivandzhi) in the early 1940s.

But in 1937, the future General Designer of the USSR, Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, the author of a host of inventions and extraordinary new ideas in astronautics (he is called one of the fathers of Russian and Soviet cosmonautics) was arrested as an "enemy of the people." At that time, he was still engaged in the development of cruise missiles for the army, and only dreamed of flying - no, not into space, so far only into the stratosphere. His research was called "sabotage", "sabotage", "nonsense" (after all, they did not bear fruit then either in the economy or in the military). The investigator beat the brilliant engineer on the head so that until the end of his life it was difficult for Korolev to eat ...

And there were only twenty years left - only a segment of human life - until the moment when, after entering the satellite orbit, space explorers will become national heroes ... How could you not break down, believe in life and wait for the triumph?

When in 1978 in the Siberian taiga they found the Lykov family of Old Believers, who had not seen other people for forty years, the father of the family was already about 80 years old. He looked with interest at technical innovations, especially polyethylene struck him. But at the message about the flights of people into space, the old man shook his head, as if discovering a lie: "Well, only God and heavenly angels can fly to the sky ..." But space flights have already changed the world picture of millions of people!

Thanks to space research, cybernetics developed, new laws of mathematics and physics were discovered, the construction of space rockets developed other air transport on the planet (passenger aircraft, for example)

An essay on the theme "Space" is a space for imagination. Reasoning on this topic, you can write not only about the first flight of Yuri Gagarin, but also come up with a fantastic story about the future conquest of various planets or, presenting yourself as an alien, describe your world and society. Traveling in a spaceship is one of the topics that will be of interest to children of any age.

Essay on the topic "The first flight into space"

Do modern kids know about space flight? Do you dream of becoming astronauts now? An essay on the topic "First flight into space" is a work for which the student's parents can help prepare. They will tell about the childhood of Yuri Gagarin, where he grew up, how he studied and what profession he received. The whole family can look for information about how fighter pilots were retrained for flying on "new technology", since no one could speak openly about "spaceships" yet.

Both adults and children will be interested in learning about twenty young men who were preparing to pave the way to the stars. The essay on the topic "Flight into space" can be supplemented with a story about why it was Gagarin who was chosen as the first Soviet cosmonaut. You can make a brief overview of his training in pressure chambers, centrifuges and other simulators. It is imperative to mention those people without whom the first flight would not have been possible: Sergei Pavlovich Korolev and Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky. Then you should proceed to the story of the very day that will forever be remembered by the planet Earth: 1961.

About space and man

An essay on the topic "Space and Man" is a very multifaceted work, starting with which one should decide on the direction in which the reasoning will move. In the introduction, you can write that it was Russia that made the main contribution to the exploration of outer space, and then set out the views of scientists from different eras about the structure of the Earth and other planets, the solar system, stars and galaxies, about the theory of the origin of the universe. In the main part, it is worth mentioning Yuri Gagarin, as the first person to be in orbit, and in the main part, talk about further plans for the development of other planets, including Mars. As a conclusion, one can fantasize about what man expects from space in the future, what plans exist for the development of this direction.

About astronauts and artificial earth satellites

Another option could be an essay about why a person should conquer outer space. You can also start your introduction with brief description evolution of views on the planet Earth, remember the myth about Icarus, who dreamed of flying, and about aviation pioneers such as Alexander Fedorovich Mozhaisky and the Wright brothers. except short story about Yuri Gagarin, it would be appropriate to add information about the cosmonauts who flew after him to the essay on the topic "Space and Man": for example, about the crew of the "Vostok-2" spacecraft Pavel Ivanovich Belyaev and Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov, or about the first woman in space - Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova. In the main part - talk about artificial earth satellites and orbital stations, their role for the development of science, technology and mobile communications, and end with a discussion about the future of the space industry.

Essay on the theme "Space" as a fantastic story

You can approach work outside the box, turning the essay into a fantastic story about space pirates, battles and life on other planets. To do this, you have to use all your imagination, but such fantasies will help not only to get an excellent mark in the Russian language: a student who takes the task seriously will have the opportunity to win prizes in various meaning.

You can start a fantastic essay on the topic "Space" with some general facts or a brief discussion about the dreams and plans of mankind to conquer outer space. Then smoothly move on to the plot, describing the technologies of the future, the ecological state of the planet and the struggle to save humanity, creating your own characters and telling their story. As a conclusion, it is best to draw a short conclusion about the prospects for the settlement of the human race in outer space, about the social problems that it may face. It is important to write that, despite the differences between nations, races and even species, you can always find something in common and agree with each other.

SPACE

“Humanity will not remain forever on Earth,

but, in pursuit of light and space, at first

will timidly penetrate beyond the atmosphere, and then

will conquer all the space around the sun ”.

K.E. Tsiolkovsky.

Space is the Universe.

Space includes interplanetary, interstellar, intergalactic space with all objects in it.

Space is a huge space, and it is getting bigger and bigger. Our entire solar system is only a tiny fraction of the cosmos. Everything that happens in space affects the objects in it and each of us. Studying what is happening in space helps people on Earth to take the necessary measures to save life. With the help of spacecraft launched from Earth, it is possible not only to observe the processes taking place on our planet, but also to take the necessary measures in a timely manner. For example, you can warn in advance about some natural phenomena: strong hurricanes, floods, magnetic storms and others.

The first steps in space exploration were made in the early 30s of our century in the works of the founder of cosmonautics, Russian scientist, Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky (1857-1935), who said: "The impossible today will become possible tomorrow." These words turned out to be prophetic.

On October 4, 1957, the first artificial earth satellite in the world was launched in the USSR. A new era has come, space. The Russian word "satellite" entered the languages of all peoples. Since then, hundreds of Kosmos satellites have been launched in our country, the purpose of which is to conduct extensive scientific research and technical experiments. Already two years after the launch of the first satellite, our automated station orbited the Moon and transmitted photographs of its reverse, invisible side to the earth. The moving apparatus Lunokhod-1 worked on the Moon for many months, delivering valuable information to the Earth. And the automatic station delivered us samples of the lunar soil. Space stations have been sent to the planet Venus more than once, complex studies of the planet Mars have been carried out with the help of automatic stations. Our device made a soft landing in one of the regions of Mars and transmitted a video signal to Earth. On April 12, 1961, the first man of our planet, the Russian pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, ascended into space and circled the Earth on the Vostok spacecraft. After that, we have already witnessed the heroic flights of cosmonauts many times.

To study and use space, mankind constantly invents and launches more and more spacecraft into space. Today, there are a huge number of artificial satellites in space, with the help of which television, telephone and radio communications are carried out on Earth. Spacecraft launched from Earth are directed to various planets of the solar system: Mars, Saturn, Venus, Pluto and others. And the moon has already been visited not only by spaceships, but also by people. They were American astronauts. Large reserves of helium have been discovered on the moon. When it becomes possible to deliver it to Earth, the Earth's fuel resources will increase for many hundreds of years.
Studying the processes occurring in space, scientists make forecasts for the development of climate on Earth, and ecologists develop recommendations for the preservation of nature.
We know that in billions of years life on Earth will cease, therefore, the question of searching for objects in space that would be suitable for human life in the future is already becoming topical. We are interested in whether there is life on other stellar systems and in other galaxies, whether there are intelligent beings in the Universe, whether it is possible to establish contacts with them. The efforts of mankind are directed towards all this today. About sixty years have passed since man launched the first spacecraft into space, and how many new, interesting and useful things we have learned. And humanity still has many, many millions of years ahead, which will allow us to penetrate deeper into the secrets of the Universe and preserve the life that originated on Earth in the future.
The universe, or space, is the entire world around us. That is why space is very interesting to me. If they were allowed to ride a rocket, to visit space, I would gladly take part in this.

Space exploration

Definition 1

Space exploration - the discovery and exploration of outer space using space technologies.

The development of large rocket engines and liquid propellants in the early twentieth century allowed a practical look at space exploration.

Current indications for space exploration include scientific progress, and the ability to ensure the survival of humanity in the future. There are also important political and ethical issues related to space exploration.

Remark 1

The start of space exploration was triggered by the space race between the Soviet Union and the United States of America.

In the future, Competition changed to cooperation, as can be seen in the example of the International Space Station. Since the early $ 90s of the twentieth century, individuals have become interested in space tourism. Large state-owned companies have begun work on space exploration of manned flights to the moon and possibly the planet Mars.

Problems related to space exploration

  • It is much more expensive for people to perform certain tasks than if the same tasks were performed by robots or machines. People need large spacecraft that can ensure the survival of life in the harsh conditions of outer space. A number of scientists believe that some tasks that require human intervention do not outweigh the huge costs of sending humans into space.
  • Some people also have a moral objection to looking at the enormous cost of space programs. They say there will be tremendous benefits if some of the money spent on space missions is spent on fighting disease and hunger in the world. However, compared to other expensive projects such as military action, space exploration receives a very small percentage of the total budget spending of countries pursuing space programs.
  • Also, why spend so much time and money to learn something new about Mars or any other planet when we know so little about our own planet? We need to learn more about Earth and the ocean before spending time and money on space exploration.
  • According to modern data, there are about $ 3000 $ tons of space debris in near space, which is approximately $ 1 $% of the mass of the entire upper atmosphere. The growing debris in space poses a serious threat to space stations and manned flights.
  • Modern chemical engines are ineffective for flights to the distant planets of our solar system. In the future, it is planned to use spaceships with nuclear and thermonuclear engines.

In general, public opinion supports space exploration, perhaps this is due to ignorance of the problems that accompany exploration.

The future of space exploration

The idea of using high-level automated systems for space travel has become a coveted target for space agencies around the world. Such systems are believed to offer advantages such as lower cost as well as the ability to explore the depths of space.

Colonization of the Cosmos is the concept of permanent autonomous (self-sufficient) human settlements in areas outside the Earth. The first such colonization is the permanent presence of humans in space, such as on the International Space Station. The colonization of the universe is one of the main themes of former science fiction and modern science.

While most people think of colonies on the Moon and Mars, others argue that the first colonies may orbit Earth. Several teams from NASA and other institutions are exploring the possibility of creating orbital colonies.

Humanity has long been developing at an accelerated pace and is studying everything that is possible. To date, on our planet, a lot has already been studied and amenable to explanation, while space has not yet been fully explored. A person always tried to learn something new and even

In ancient times, people thought about what the sun, the sky are and what is there, above the sky. In those days, technology was not yet so developed, so people could only guess what was there.

Then people managed to build such devices that would allow them to fly into space. People even thought that people or other creatures also lived somewhere. Perhaps there is a planet like the Earth, which is inhabited by animals and people like us. But so far such a planet has not been found, because space is infinite and fraught with many mysteries and interesting things. When the first man flew into space, it was a real breakthrough, everyone was worried about him

Residents of our country.

I think space exploration is a very exciting experience. No one knows everything that space hides from us, so this area of study is full of interesting and unexpected facts. Someday a person will fully explore the cosmos, and then there will be nothing to learn. It is not in vain that films are being made about the future, in which anyone can safely go into space. Perhaps this will be the case in the future, because no one knows for sure.

Currently, humanity spends a lot of money on space exploration. Who knows, suddenly aliens live on some planet, more developed than us and periodically fly to our planet. After all, it is not for nothing that for a long time people have noticed strange objects in the sky, suddenly extraterrestrial intelligence exists, and humanity will find it. Man has already made a lot of efforts to simply go into space, and now he is trying to find out all the secrets that space hides.
