What Americans say about Russian weapons. Why are the brave American soldiers afraid of the Russians? One of the problems with the United States military is cowardice.

The Russian president said that he has a new weapon that the United States cannot repel. This is his response to the great betrayal - NATO's expansion to the east, contrary to all promises. Putin publicly warned that we would do this, both after in 2002, and after the first tests in 2004, and in a Munich speech in 2007: there is no longer a unipolar world, dialogue between countries cannot be reduced to orders and accusations.

Why didn't you hear? Most likely, they heard, but did not believe. And Putin explains: this is a response to the new US nuclear policy, in which a nuclear attack is considered an acceptable response to any threat, in which the creation of low-power nuclear charges is recommended, but there is no such thing as a small nuclear war. Putin spoke and reinforced his words with the phrase: “Please show me the video.” And what is characteristic: Americans were hooked not on the content of the videos, but on the form: “What kind of graphics, why is everything so primitive!” Yes, because it was not civilians who drew, and the message is simple: we draw as best we can, and you will watch without stopping. NTV correspondent Anton Ponomarev studied the reaction to this explosive premiere.

The reaction of the White House and the military was not immediate. By the time the Pentagon promised to protect Americans no matter what happens, the local media had already delivered the day's biggest story as they heard and understood it: Putin boasts, Putin threatens, Putin dominates. Here are some headlines from Western newspapers: “Putin’s ‘invincible’ missile targets America’s weak spots”, “Putin boasted of a new nuclear weapon that can strike anywhere in the world”, “Russia has opened an arsenal of new nuclear weapons. Should you be afraid?”, “Putin threatens the US with an arms race with new missiles.”

Many people in the West took Putin’s message to the Russian Federal Assembly personally. Someone thought that the conditional map showed an American state with an Atlantic defense system, a famous spaceport and Donald Trump’s favorite residence.

Michael Hayden, former head of the CIA and NSA: “Florida. They used a completely recognizable part of the United States in this video. This is what I wanted us to see."

Richard Weitz, director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at the American Hudson Institute: “If Russia is worried about the US missile defense system, then this is exactly what it would like to have as a counterweight. Putin’s message in the message is that the Russians want to at least be confident that they have the ability to counter American conventional superiority.”

Emmanuel Leroy, political scientist: “I think this is the speech of the world. As they say, if you want peace, prepare for war. Putin addressed primarily the “dangerous” part of the American government, the “shadow government.” He warned them: “Be careful, don’t be fools!” We have the ability to protect ourselves."

Its doctrine is closer to the body. A month ago . But if someone else thinks about their own safety, then this is necessarily aggression and incitement to war.

Richard Bird, chief US negotiator for the strategic arms reduction treaty with the Soviet Union in 1991: “You can’t say Putin is wrong. It was we who withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002. I myself consider this a mistake, because the Russians believed that, with a guarantee of mutual destruction, relations between nuclear powers would be equal. And if the United States withdraws from the treaty, then it has the opportunity to be the first to launch a nuclear strike and dictate its terms.”

Until recently, America insisted: the missile defense system is not directed against Russia, but as soon as it became known that any defense system for new Russian weapons is not an obstacle, the West began to worry. it is unclear who and what to do next, if each next move will definitely not be better than the previous one.

It cannot be said, of course, that the information about the new Russian weapon took everyone by surprise. The Pentagon generals certainly did not prepare for the last war. Quite the opposite: they looked to the future and for months demanded from Congress: give money to counter new Russian missiles. Here, the current spending on the defense industry aroused fear, hatred, and envy among many potential opponents. But now the military definitely has an additional argument for increasing defense orders.

Laurie Robinson, head of the North American Aerospace Defense Command: “The capabilities of Russian long-range aviation and submarines are amazing. They learned to work at heights and with technologies that we are not yet accustomed to using. Every day I receive reports and intelligence about their growing strength."

The story is heating up. Literally a day before the news appeared about the expansion of the range of the Russian military trade, the Twitter of former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton exploded with a heart-rending “Hillary in the conservative American press recalled both her connections with Russia and her participation in the reset. And if the Russian topic does not end, she will probably still say: I warned you.

This is the famous “The Russians are coming” - a direct quote and reference to another classic of the Cold War and the fight against “Russian intervention” (then Soviet Union) James Forrestal. The former Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy repeated this phrase more often in a paranoid state, so terrible did the Russian world seem to him, traces of which he invariably saw in Washington at every step. “Russians are everywhere, Russians are coming, I see Russian soldiers,” with the same cries he threw himself out of the window of a psychiatric hospital in 1949.

The Russian embassy in the United States tried to defuse the situation. Diplomats announced in

An American connoisseur of Soviet weapons is setting up production of the VSS Vintorez special forces sniper rifle. The author of the project, a resident of Connecticut, decided to start an extremely risky commercial project to popularize Russian secret weapons.

Rifle "Vintorez". Photo: Wikimedia

The fact is that, unlike the Kalashnikov assault rifle and the Dragunov sniper rifle (SVD), the Vintorez cannot be purchased or even seen by a civilian in the United States. In this regard, the author of the project was forced to turn to the manufacturer - the Tula Arms Plant, but was refused the supply of parts and the purchase of prototypes. As a result, the future manufacturer decided to change the technical characteristics and layout of the American Vintorez, while maintaining the appearance. He reports this on his official website Slagga Manufacturing LLC and on the social network Facebook.

The gas group and barrel will be taken from an AR-15 rifle. And instead of a special 9x39 caliber cartridge, the standard 7.62x39 will be used. The reason is obvious. A special cartridge for Vintorez was developed by the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (TSNIITOCHMASH). It has a subsonic speed to prevent a suppressed rifle from making a popping sound when propellant gases escape. It can also be equipped with an armor-piercing core to overcome body armor at a distance of up to 280 meters. In the USA, such cartridges are simply not available, as are Vintorez components. Although in fairness it is worth noting that quite recently the Tula Arms Plant (TOZ) supplied legendary rifles not only to the foreign market, but also for export.

As TOZ General Director Ilya Kurilov told reporters at the international arms salon Eurosatory 2014, “by 2017-2018, we expect to increase the annual production of Vintorez and Valov to 3 thousand barrels per year, increasing domestic sales for the Ministry of Defense. And for export leaving 20%." In 2014, the Tula plant exported 50% of its weapons production to the Middle East, South America and the USA. The weapon was ordered by the armed forces and police, as it was intended for special operations. While an American consumer could buy a Kalashnikov assault rifle in a store, including Russian models, the Vintorez is completely unknown to Western consumers.

There were cases when American veterans brought Dragunov sniper rifles (SVD) from Iraq and Afghanistan as trophies, but only those US units that officially purchased it from Russia could get their hands on the most successful late Soviet development for special forces. Probably, the author of the project was able to see Vintorez in action and was greatly impressed. The compact rifle has virtually no recoil, and the sound is reminiscent of a light whip blow.

The rifle is rightfully the standard for work at close ranges up to 400 m and has no analogues in the world in terms of its tactical and technical characteristics. The development of Vintorez began in 1983 for such secret KGB units as Vympel. The rifle was introduced into the GRU special forces troops only in the 1990s. For the sake of absolute noiselessness, designer P.I. Serdyukov integrated a silent firing device (muffler) into the “anatomy” of the rifle, thereby creating a single design of the barrel and muffler. This is where the name “Vintorez” came from. Also, the new rifle did not make a bolt clang when chambering a cartridge during firing or other sounds that unmasked a sniper. The combat complex included day and night vision sights, as well as a 10-round magazine. The SP-5 and SP-6 ammunition had a special design and was created specifically for the rifle. The subsonic power of the cartridge reduced noise as much as possible, and its armor-piercing properties made it possible to penetrate body armor. The Vintorez entered service in 1987, but due to its high secrecy, many army intelligence units were unaware of its existence until 1993.

The rifle was most effective in urban environments when clearing buildings. It is known that in the early 1990s, the 45th separate reconnaissance regiment of the Airborne Forces in Kubinka so badly wanted to get Vintorez into service that it exchanged rifles with the Belarusian 5th GRU special forces brigade. The Belarusians were forced to make a deal because they did not have supplies of special ammunition after the collapse of the USSR. Since 2008, the situation has changed thanks to the reorganization of combined arms brigades “to a new look.” Since then, ordinary military reconnaissance has been equipped with an elite rifle. The success of the development prompted designers in 1987 to begin developing an entire line based on VSS. The continuation was the silent assault rifle "Val", and in 1996 - the small-sized assault rifle SR-3 "Whirlwind".

If the American popularizer of Russian weapons manages to preserve at least 60-70% of the characteristics of Vintorez, then the American version may be in demand. The fact is that true gun connoisseurs in the United States always buy Russian weapons, and Kalashnikov is included in the home arsenal collection. AK-47 is a brand of reliability and has no analogues in the world. The Spetsnaz VSS is little known in the United States, but the integrated suppressor is of great interest to Americans. It's all about the popularity of silent devices for weapons in America. It is approved for use by civilians who prefer to shoot on their property without attracting the attention of neighbors. The silencer is also effective when firing at home when burglars attack. The absence of noise when shooting allows you to maintain orientation and hear the movements of other attackers. Some Americans even prefer to keep their guns with a silencer installed.

In the case of Vintorez, the buyer will have no choice - to take or not to take a silent device. Thanks to the integration of the muffler into the design, you will immediately have to obtain an additional license for it. The rifle also falls under the format of a short-barreled shotgun under American law. According to the author of the project, all 3D drawings have been completed and he will begin production in 2017. We are not talking about a large production batch. Assembly will be carried out to order with a small margin. The author informs his customers that they should not count on the low cost of a unique product. Based on market prices for semi-automatic assault rifles and sniper rifles in the United States, you can expect a minimum price threshold of $1,000.

For example, after the introduction of sanctions, Russia was unable to sell AK-47s to the United States. This caused a shortage of the original model from the Russian Federation on the market, and prices jumped in 2014 from 600 to 1,500 dollars. Gunsmiths greatly value original Russian weapons. This factor can be disastrous for the author of the project, since few people know Vintorez, and local assembly will not add value to it. In plans for the future, the enthusiast is going to copy and set up production of the Val assault rifle and the Kalashnikov VSK-94 military sniper rifle. Whether the VSK-94 will be in demand also remains in question, since weapon connoisseurs prefer to purchase historical legends rather than modifications. The AK-47 with a wooden forearm is the one that sells the most in the United States.

The exceptional combat capability of the Russian army has always been a mystery to us. This combat effectiveness would be logical if the Russian soldier was fed, dressed, shod and armed better than a soldier in the Western army, but he was always hungry, always dressed in an uncomfortable long overcoat, which is cold in winter and hot in summer, shod in summer bast shoes, and in winter, boots soaked from the winter rains in which it is even impossible to move your feet. The Russian soldier is armed with a weapon that is simple to the point of primitiveness, and can be aimed only with the help of a medieval device - a rear sight and a front sight. Moreover, the Russian soldier is not even taught to shoot, so that, firstly, he does not waste ammunition during his training, and secondly, so that he does not accidentally or intentionally shoot his colleagues.

The soldiers are kept in a prison building with two-story beds, and one hundred people live in one room.

During the entire service, the soldiers are kept in a prison building. The Russians sleep on two-story bunks, and there are a hundred people in one room. This prison doesn't even have proper toilets - instead of toilets, there are just holes made in sweat. They are located in a row and are not separated from each other by booths. Russian soldiers are allowed to relieve themselves only twice a day: at the command of an officer, all one hundred people squat over these holes and do both No. 1 and No. 2 in front of everyone (No. 1 means small for the Americans, and No. 2 – in a big way – Ed.).

In the toilet for Russian soldiers there are not only toilets, but even cubicles. Both men and women relieve themselves into a hole in the floor and use old newspapers instead of toilet paper.

And yet, in all the wars for 300 years in a row, the Russian soldier has emerged victorious. First, in the early 18th century, the Russians, led by Tsar Peter the Terrible, defeated the Swedes and Ukrainians in the Northern War near Poltava, which lasted for 20 years. Sweden then became a second-rate power, and Ukraine came under the rule of the Russian Tsar. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Russians defeated Napoleon himself, who tried to bring civilization to Russia and free the Russians from slavery.

Then the Russians did not believe Napoleon - their orthodox priests declared Napoleon the Antichrist, and the Russians believed that they were fighting for the triumph of their form of religion throughout the world. Oddly enough, the Russians managed to win. They reached Paris, and only when England threatened the new Russian Tsar (old Peter had died by then) with a naval blockade, they left Europe, leaving, however, Poland behind them for a whole hundred years.

At the beginning of the 19th century, Russian troops with spears and arrows defeated the strongest army of Napoleon at that time in the world. (In fact, the picture shows reenactors in the uniform of the 1st Bashkir Regiment - Ed.)

The last Russian Tsar, Nicholas the Bloody, made a fatal mistake - he decided to ease the conditions of detention of Russian soldiers. The troops were issued rifles and even machine guns, but the soldiers turned these weapons against the officers, and a revolution took place, in which the communists won, promising to send the soldiers home.

But the next year the Communists created the Red Army, in which they restored brutal discipline. If tsarist soldiers were beaten with ramrods for the slightest offense, then the Red Army soldiers were simply shot in front of the formation as a warning to others.
And a miracle happened - the Red Army men defeated the old army, which consisted entirely of officers and sergeants.
In the mid-20th century, the Russians again faced the most powerful army in the world - Hitler's army. Initially, Hitler won victory after victory - but the defeats of the Russians were feigned - the Russians fielded troops consisting of Asian backgammon against the Germans, reserving the ethnic Russians, called the White Guard, for a decisive blow and then lured the Germans to Moscow and, waiting for winter, surrounded their best forces in the area of the Moscow region town of Stalingrad-on-Volga (Stalingrad-upon-Volga).

When the Germans ran out of fuel, which they used to heat their dugouts, the Germans were forced to surrender. The captured Germans were placed in the same barracks where Russian soldiers were kept before the war, and they began to feed them the same food that they fed the Red Army soldiers, but the Germans began to die one after another, and few lived to see the end of the war.
After the defeat at Stalingrad, only old men and teenagers remained in the German army, and the Russians were soon able to take Berlin and establish their dominance throughout Eastern Europe. Only the occupation of Western Europe by Anglo-American troops saved it from Russian enslavement. The Russians did not dare to go to war with us then, because we already had an atomic bomb, and the Russians did not yet have one.

But immediately after the war, Stalin turned to the Jews: “I saved you from Hitler, and in gratitude you should get me the drawings of the atomic bomb.” The Jews put forward a condition: to create a Jewish state in Crimea. Stalin agreed for the sake of appearance, but when the Jews stole the drawings from us and brought them to Stalin, instead of Crimea, he allocated them an autonomous district not in Crimea, but in... Siberia. At this time, we took a wise step - we forced the British to leave Palestine and created a Jewish state in the historical homeland of all Jews. However, Stalin did not release Jews into the newly formed Israel. Then the Jewish doctors stopped treating him and began to give him those medications that made him feel worse and worse. Realizing this, Stalin put all these doctors in prison, but the new doctors turned out to be half Jewish. Having Jewish mothers, they hid their nationality under the Russian surnames of their fathers and continued the course of harmful treatment, from which Stalin eventually died.

In the 1950s - 1970s, Russian troops, instead of combat training, plowed fields with the help of tanks, and Russian collective farmers fed them for this.

After Stalin's death, the military became bolder, and their leader, Field Marshal Zhukov, even wanted to stage a coup. But Nikita Khrushchev outwitted everyone - through behind-the-scenes intrigue, it was he who came to power. Fearing the military, he greatly weakened the Red Army. All weapons were locked up, which was supposed to be opened only in the event of the outbreak of war, and instead of training, soldiers began to build cowsheds and plant potatoes on collective farms. Since then, the army was viewed by the Russians not so much as a military force, but as a labor force.

Only elite units that suppressed anti-Russian uprisings in Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Poland were intensively trained.

The castle had to be opened only in 1979, when the Russians decided to take control of Afghanistan.
At that time, almost all of Central Asia belonged to the Russians, and opium smoking was widespread in this region before the establishment of Russian rule. The Russians introduced a ban on this, and also destroyed all opium plantations. By agreement with the Russians, the Afghan king did the same, to whom, in exchange for this measure, the Russians provided weapons and helped in the fight against the British. While kings ruled in Afghanistan, the Russians were calm - there were no drug addicts in Russia. But when the king was overthrown, the Afghans began to grow poppies again and make heroin from it.

Drugs began to spread not only throughout Central Asia, but had already reached Moscow, and when even the famous Russian poet Vysotsky became a drug addict, the Russians’ patience ran out, and they decided to enter Afghanistan with troops and destroy Vespiary with their own hands. The Russians called Afghanistan a vespiary - a nest of wasps. The Russians called wasps drug dealers who, like insects, flew across the Russian border on hang gliders and, under the guise of local Uzbeks and Tajiks, sold heroin not only at the bazaar in Tashkent, but also at the Central Market on Tsvetnoy Boulevard in Moscow. Moscow was then preparing for the 1980 Olympics, and the Russians were afraid that athletes coming from all over the world would see drug addicts lying around on the streets of Moscow.

Russians in Afghanistan: look. how lightly the Afghan soldiers are dressed, and what sheepskin coats the Russians are wrapped in.
The introduction of troops into Afghanistan forced the Russians to open their arsenals. But in hot Afghanistan, the Russians in overcoats and felt boots felt uncomfortable, which is why they were never able to cope with the partisan movement. In the end, they were forced to leave Afghanistan, but the troops came out with weapons. At that time, oil prices had fallen greatly, and the Russians did not have money to feed the huge population - only the KGB troops and internal troops guarding the prisoners fed it.

After the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and Eastern Europe, Russian soldiers ate whatever they could find. They ran through the forests with machine guns and hunted wild animals, but when they destroyed all the fauna, they had to sell their weapons.

And then, in order to feed themselves, the military began to sell weapons to bandits and separatists. Rebellions broke out on Russia's national outskirts and the Soviet Union collapsed. In Russia itself, the Russian mafia, consisting mainly of Chechens, a warlike people living in the mountains, almost reigned supreme. These people were conquered back in the 19th century, but dreamed not only of taking revenge on the Russians, but also of taking control of all of Russia.

In Soviet times, they did not have weapons, and when the military began to sell them, they got them, and their dream was close to coming true. Seeing that power was gradually passing to the Chechens, then-President Yeltsin declared war on them, but since he continued to pay the military poorly, the Russians did not fight the Chechens at full strength and just as in European football they arrange match-fixing, where one team loses for money another, Russian generals lost battles for money. As a result, Yeltsin was forced to sign a rather humiliating peace with the Chechens. However, the KGB was unhappy with this. It overthrew Yeltsin and installed its former leader, Putin, at the head of Russia. By this time, oil prices began to rise, and Putin was able to pay the military real money. Then the military got down to business thoroughly, and very quickly defeated the Chechens.

During the 13 years that Putin has been in power, the Russian army has become much stronger, but many problems remain unresolved. So, Gorbachev also ordered not to take students into the army. As a result, only those who do not have access to higher education end up in the army. They are afraid to trust new equipment to such soldiers with a low level of education, because they will break it. Therefore, Putin did something that had never happened before in Russia - they began to take hired soldiers into the army. If previously they were taken into the army only by force, taken to the unit under escort, and during the entire peace period the soldiers were kept in prison with toilets without toilets and even without toilet paper (the Russians use old newspapers instead), now there are more and more mercenaries in the army. There are especially many of them on the southern borders, where mountain peoples live, ready to rebel at any moment, but recently mercenaries have appeared even in the Moscow region. How this will end, time will tell, but we must not lose our vigilance: history teaches us that Russia will recover even after the most severe devastation, and, having recovered, it, as a rule, regains its lost positions.

What is the reason for such exceptional combat effectiveness of Russian soldiers? As it turned out, in genetics. Recent studies have established that Russians descend not from harmless plowmen, but from warlike Scythians. Distinguished by their natural ferocity, this barbarian tribe also knew how to show military cunning - the Scythians always lured enemies deep into their territory and then destroyed them. This is what the Russians subsequently did to the Swedes, to Napoleon and to Hitler, and this is what they will do to us if we succumb to their tricks. You cannot fight with the Russians on their territory. They are a priori stronger there.

We must not forget that among the Russians there are also so-called Cossacks. They are taught to fight from childhood, and they always have weapons at home. Recently, the Cossacks have been reviving, and the Cossacks are ready to form the basis of a new professional army.

PS: To be honest, I never found proof of the American source, most likely there is none, since the article is so enchanting that there are not even words. However, it’s worth reading, this masterpiece lifts your spirits

...An experienced American soldier, during a banquet, frankly spoke to the author about the Russians and why they are so feared in the United States.

It so happened that I had the opportunity to participate in the same project with real Americans. Nice guys, pros. In the six months that the project was underway, we managed to become friends. As expected, the successful completion of the project ends with drinking. And now our banquet is in full swing, I got into a tongue-in-cheek conversation with a guy with whom we were discussing the same topic. Of course, we discussed who was “cooler”, talked about the first satellite, the lunar program, airplanes, weapons, etc.

And I asked a question:

Tell me, American, why are you so afraid of us, you’ve been living in Russia for six months, you’ve seen everything yourself, there are no bears on the street and no one rides in tanks?

Oh, I'll explain that. An instructor sergeant explained this to us when I served in the US National Guard. This instructor went through many hot spots, he was hospitalized twice, and both times because of the Russians. He told us all the time that Russia is the only and most terrible enemy.
The first time was in 1989, in Afghanistan. This was his first business trip, young, not yet shelled, he helped civilians when the Russians decided to destroy a mountain village.

Wait! - I interrupted. - Us already wasn’t there in 1989 in Afghanistan.

Us too more wasn’t there in 1991 in Afghanistan, but I don’t see any point in not believing him. Listen.

And I listened, and in front of me was no longer a peaceful young engineer, but an American veteran.

“I provided security, the Russians were no longer in Afghanistan, the locals began to fight with each other, our task was to organize the redeployment of a friendly partisan detachment to the area we controlled, everything went according to plan, but two Russian helicopters appeared in the sky, why and why, I Don't know. Having made a turn, they changed formation and began to approach our positions. A volley of stingers, the Russians went over the ridge. I managed to take a position behind a large-caliber machine gun, I waited, Russian vehicles were supposed to appear from behind the ridge, a good burst at the side would do them good. And the Russian helicopter was not long in coming; it appeared, not from behind the ridge, but from below from the gorge and hovered 30 meters from me. I desperately pressed the trigger and saw the bullets bouncing off the glass, striking sparks.

I saw the Russian pilot smiling.

I woke up already at the base. Mild contusion. I was later told that the pilot took pity on me, the Russians considered it a sign of skill to deal with the locals and leave the European alive, I don’t know why, and I don’t believe it. Leaving an enemy behind who is capable of a surprise is stupid, but the Russians are not stupid.

Then there were many different business trips, the next time I encountered the Russians in Kosovo.

It was a crowd of untrained idiots, with machine guns from the Vietnam War, armored armor probably left over from the Second World War, heavy, inconvenient, no navigators, night vision devices, nothing else, just a machine gun, a helmet and armored armor. They drove their armored personnel carriers wherever they wanted and wherever they wanted, passionately kissed the civilian population, baked bread for them (they brought a bakery with them and baked bread). They fed everyone their own porridge with canned meat, which they cooked themselves in a special cauldron. We were treated with disdain and constantly insulted. It wasn't an army, but who knows what. How can you interact with them? All our reports to the Russian leadership were ignored. Somehow we got into a serious fight, we didn’t share the route, if it weren’t for the Russian officer who calmed these monkeys down, we could have reached the trunks. These idiots needed to be punished. Give it a fuck and put it in its place. Without, we only needed Russian corpses, but so that they would understand. They wrote a note in Russian, but with mistakes, like the Serb wrote that nice guys were gathering at night to give p...d to the insolent Russian bastards. We prepared thoroughly, light body armor, police batons, night vision devices, stun guns, no knives or firearms. We approached them, observing all the rules of camouflage and sabotage. These idiots didn’t even post, so that means we’ll fuck the sleeping ones, we deserve it. When we almost reached the tents, there was a fucking “RY-YAY-AAA.” And from all the cracks these idiots crawled out, for some reason dressed only in striped shirts. I accepted the first one.

I woke up already at the base. Mild contusion. They told me later that the guy took pity on me and hit me flat; if he had hit me for real, he would have taken my head off. I, f..., an experienced fighter of an elite unit of the US Marine Corps, was knocked out in 10 seconds by a Russian, skinny bastard - and with what??? And you know what? Gardening and entrenching tools.

Shovel! Yes, it would never have occurred to me to fight with a sapper shovel, but they are taught this, but unofficially, among the Russians it was considered a sign of skill to know how to fight with a sapper shovel. I later realized that they were waiting for us, but why did they come out in shirts, only in shirts, because it is natural for a person to protect himself, to wear armored armor and a helmet. Why only in shirts? And their fucking “RY-YAY-AAA”!

I was once waiting for a flight at the Detroit airport, there was a Russian family there, mom, dad, daughter, also waiting for their plane. The father bought somewhere and brought a hefty ice cream to the girl, about three years old. She jumped with delight, clapped her hands and do you know what she screamed? Their fucking “RY-YAY-AAA”! Three years old, speaks poorly, and already shouts “RY-YAY-AAA”!

But those guys with this cry went to die for their country. They knew that it would just be a hand-to-hand fight, without weapons, but they were going to die. But they didn't go to kill!

It's easy to kill while sitting in an armored helicopter or holding a razor-sharp blade in your hands. They didn't feel sorry for me. Killing for the sake of killing is not for them. But they are ready to die if necessary.

And then I realized: Russia is the only and most terrible enemy.”

This is how a soldier from an elite US unit told us about you. Let's go, have another glass?.. Russian! But I'm not afraid of you!

The presentation and translation are mine, don’t look for inaccuracies and discrepancies, they exist, I was drunk and don’t remember the details, I retold what I remembered...

The question remains whether there will be copyright issues if Russian weapons are manufactured in America without a license, even though Russian and Chinese spies have no qualms about stealing American technology and trade secrets. Either way, the idea of producing foreign weapons in America seems sound and economical. In this case, the United States will not need to buy it from unreliable and dubious foreign arms dealers.

Why does American special forces want to start producing Russian machine guns?

Watch any video of the conflict in Iraq or Syria, and the answer will become quite clear. Many militants there use Russian and Soviet weapons or their local copies. This applies to machine guns, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns mounted on pickup trucks. This situation suggests that when American special forces want to arm some of these groups, they have to search the world market to buy Russian weapons and spare parts for them.

Therefore, the Special Operations Forces Command, to which various US sabotage units are subordinate, put forward an idea: why don’t we start making Russian weapons ourselves instead of buying them? For this reason, the US Special Operations Command invited American companies to prepare a plan for the production of Russian and other foreign weapons.

The goal is to create innovative domestic capabilities to produce operational copies of foreign weapons that “will not be inferior or even superior in their characteristics to what foreign countries are doing,” the command’s proposal to small businesses to conduct innovative research notes. More specifically, the Special Operations Command wants American companies to evaluate the possibility of developing technical documentation for a finished product or producing samples of the following types of weapons: a light machine gun chambered for 7.62x54 mm belt feed, similar to the PKM (modernized Kalashnikov machine gun ) and a heavy machine gun chambered for standard 12.7x108 mm cartridges, reminiscent of the Russian NSV (Nikitin, Sokolov, Volkov).

© RIA Novosti, Stringer

Those wishing to participate in this research project must produce “five operational prototypes of foreign weapons similar in shape, characteristics and action to the Russian NSV heavy machine gun chambered for standard 12.7x108 mm cartridges, and fire them with live ammunition.”

However, the special forces command does not intend to make the task easier for manufacturers and is not going to provide them with technical assistance, say, in the form of drawings. Interested companies must independently prepare drawings of foreign weapons, purchase the appropriate blanks and materials, and also set up production.

Companies will also have to solve the problem of “producing spare parts for weapons received by the troops.” In addition, they must be prepared to start and stop production as needed, as well as supply weapons in varying quantities.

Special Operations Command also emphasizes that foreign weapons production must be established only in America. Manufacturers “will be required to use only local labor, source locally produced materials and parts, and conduct manufacturing and assembly in American facilities.”

The command is starting with only a couple of Russian machine guns, but the development proposal talks about foreign-made weapons in general. “Creating the capacity to domestically produce weapons similar to foreign ones will help solve these problems. Moreover, such production will be profitable, strengthening the country’s military-industrial complex and ensuring stable and reliable supplies. In addition, it will lead to a reduction in the development time for new products.”
